Our Canvas Prints
Canvas stock is ILFORD GALERIE Canvas Natural 340g/m². This is a cotton/polyester blend canvas with a matte surface and natural tint. With no added optical brightening agents in the coating layer, this canvas offers stunning colour reproduction thanks to a wide colour gamut that enhances rich colours and provides deep, dense blacks.

Our Printer
State-of-the-art Epson SureColor P10070 44" which has superior print quality by using a 2400x1200dpi heat-free PrecisionCore Micro TFP print head with VSDT. It provides consistent and predictable output in ultra-high resolution with superior half tones and an optimised ink density. It offers superb colour by using 10 cartridges of Epson UltraChrome Pro ink which provides prints with a high dMax and a wide colour gamut. It also offers superior Black & White prints by producing gallery quality images with dedicated Photo & Matte Black ink lines for imagery on paper or canvas.

Our Inks
Epson UltraChrome Pro ink is based on their famous K3 & HDR ink. It has an aqueous (water based) all-pigment construction that has been designed for professional and commercial print production. The formulation provides an extended gamut with superior colour accuracy and archival level image stability.

The ink dries quickly to produce prints that are water and scratch resistant. The ink set includes Vivid Magenta for brighter blues and pinks as well as Light and Dark Grey for improved balance with neutral greys, reduced bronzing and minimal colourcasts/colour twist.

The Pro formulation features improved Matte and Photo Black inks that provide an enhanced Dmax for brighter prints with an enhanced tonal range in both Black & White and colour. It also features a new Yellow ink that provides further durability with increased UV light resistance.

I made quite a few attempts at printing out the two photos on my home printer but couldn't get a satisfactory sizing.
Even thought the frames were not Ikea by using the available size i was able to get a good result and the print quality is very good

Yes – it's the format most wedding photographers shoot in to begin with, which means that a rectangular print generally needs minimal (if any) cropping to get right. It suits everything from wide ceremony shots to close portraits.

Almost any shot works well as a rectangle, but what you’ll want to consider is whether the shot works best in vertical or horizontal orientation, and plan the shot accordingly rather than trying to awkwardly crop it after the fact. Portrait (i.e. vertical) orientation best suits images with a close focus on a particular item, like a shot of a layered wedding cake, a close-up of the rings, or a two-shot portrait of the newlywed couple. Landscape (i.e. horizontal) orientation works best for wide shots of the venue, large shots of the guests or the bridal party, and expansive images of an outdoor landscape venue.
